Hong Young, 35, of Beltsville, Maryland, is charged with attempted first-degree murder and other charges in the shootings in Anne Arundel, Prince George’s and Howard counties. From 2012 until his resignation in May 2014, Young worked as a correctional officer at a Jessup facility, according to Maryland Secretary of Public Safety Stephen Moyer. Nothing significant was found in his file, Moyer said.

Probably a white, Southern Baptist Christian, gun owner, football fan, hunts and fishes, loves bar-b-q, takes his children to church each Sunday and Wednesday night, may be in a bowling league, and works 50 hours a week in a shop. Yup. That is the prime suspect in my opinion.

Ft. Meade didn’t have enough real estate for the NSA East and they now have multiple high security facilities right on the street all around BWI airport property.
They have a fleet of white vans with Fed plates cruising the BWI light rail stop every couple of minutes during the day for shuttle of folks, but I never have seen anyone get on or off. God forbid they have one van on standby that you could text a pickup/dropoff request to... gotta burn that fuel and wear out that equipment.
What ticks me off is this went on for over 2 weeks and we were kept completely in the dark. Shooting after shooting and we didn’t know. It isn’t like we haven’t been there before.. in fact, I perfected my zig zagging walk/run from the last round of snipers. AND it was info from citizens that lead to the arrest of the last two. This is what I think: Muslim ( like the last two) and didn’t want the same media hype of the “white van”, Chief “Dis will not be allowed” Moose, and the rest of it. I’m a little ticked that the public was allowed to walk around without having the knowledge/info of what was going on. Chief Moose, for ALL his faults and there is a giant list of them... kept the public a little bit in the loop. Wrong vehicle info and all that but we knew there was a sniper. IMHO.
