Flew 8000 hours out of Brunswick ME and never figured out how to slide off a runway. Delta should look hard at this Pilot. Obviously went beyond his ability.

1) Failure of the anti-skid system.
2) Assymetrical thrust (in either forward or reverse thrust mode) or
3) Pilot error i.e. failure to properly employ the anti-skid system or thrust reversers or improper position of the thrust levers.
Weather is a factor, although all planes made it without incident nationwide, for weeks of winter weather.
I fly in there once in a while for their fly-ins.
They just had an incident at Brunswick when the #7 Blue Angles jet skidded off the end of the runway preparing for take off. It was black ice and they airport was completely at fault.
