Federal prosecutors today kicked off the long-awaited trial of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev with a devastating chronology of his alleged actions on the day of the bombings that killed three and wounded 260 as defense attorneys freely admitted it was him.
He decided to place his bomb right behind a row of children... one of them was Martin Richard, federal prosecutor William Weinreb said during opening statements at the John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse in Boston. When he was a safe distance away, he detonated his bomb ... Some bled to death on the sidewalk as the defendant ran away.
Then, Weinreb said, Tsarnaev went to Whole Foods to buy milk.
Weinreb also read aloud part of the message Tsarnaev allegedly scrawled on the inside of the boat he hid in as police scoured Watertown for him.
He believed that killing Americans would secure him a place in heaven, Weinreb said.
Weinreb told the jury 12 jurors and six alternates, comprising 10 women and eight men that bloody gloves found in Tsarnaevs car contained the DNA of MIT police officer Sean Collier, who was executed as he sat in his police cruiser.
The defendant and his brother used the Ruger ... to execute Sean Collier, Wienreb said.

I really wish we had public hangings.
Even his defense isn’t a defense — his evil will hopefully die with him and soon.
“He believed that killing Americans would secure him a place in heaven, Weinreb said.”
And the jury should assure that Tsarnaev finds out as soon as possible whether that worked or not.
This trial only BEGINS nearly 2 years after the bombing took place.
This is justice?
He will likely be found guilty, though I wouldn’t bet on that happening. However the horrific pictures of the victims ripped to shreds and the videos of the smug looks as he and his brother planted the bombs and ran off should be pretty convincing to a jury. If found guilty expect 10-15 years of appeals at taxpayer expense before this little POS comes to justice.
All the defense attorneys in the world couldn’t possibly spare this guy from the death sentence.
The jury will indeed. Boston does not forget this.
Put him in with the general population. The least of his worries will be his soap if he drops it.
The Feds are just as bad as this guy.
What is so sickening is that Janet Nepolitano let this happen.
She was so busy monitoring Tea Party Patriots she couldnt bother to watch two Islamo nazis that were reported to her by Putin. She and her Muslim boss did not want to offend Muslims.
That POS needs a trial.
The death of the little boy on that sidewalk is a direct result of Huissein Obamas Islamic coddling actions.
I agree. Let him into general population at the prison.
Let them nock out all his teeth and flaten his nose, kick his ass and spit on him all day long for the next 40 years.
“So scary, he justified tanks and personnel carriers in Boston neighborhoods, point M4’s through windows at housewives.”
You might want to get your facts straight before you post garbage.
.
He will most positively RECEIVE the SENTENCE of the Death Penalty.
There will be in most places a quiet, grief filled nod of approval at the delivering of Justice.
There will be an outpouring of “compassion” for this poor young naive individual who came under the evil influence of a even more evil older brother. There will be teach-ins, sit-ins and demonstrations demanding “understanding and compassion” for this poor young man.
He will most positively NEVER have the legally proscribed sentence actually carried out.
When the death sentence is commuted, the “compassionate left” will cheer. But there will be an even LOUDER SILENCE of continued grief.
Okay:
And there will be hordes of fangirls lining up to marry him. Many American girls are that way.
“Doogie Howser the terrorist”
So.. how would you recommend conducting that manhunt for an islamonazi who had just blown up a crowded venue?
The redhead, not guilty.
Constitutionally.
Those pics are quite familiar to me.
I was referring to some statements made in the earlier post.
