It is extremely rare for any reasonable person to ever agree with anything Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says or does.
However, one must admit, Bibi did get it right, at least when it came to dealing with Iran.
The Israeli PM managed to hit the nail right on the head when he said that Middle Eastern countries are collapsing and that terror organizations, mostly backed by Iran, are filling in the vacuum during a recent ceremony held in Tel Aviv to thank outgoing IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz for his role during challenging times.
In just a few words, Mr. Netanyahu managed to accurately summarize a clear and present danger, not just to Israel (which obviously is his concern), but to other U.S. allies in the region.

The rest of us did what we had to do for our country and I will always be proud of the men I served with in Vietnam. You missed your chance to be part of us and you will never know if you could have measured up - or maybe you already do know.
We should have stayed in Iraq and Afghanistan in force - not some penny-ante little posts and then coward-out early like we did thanks to Obama. If we had maintained those bases and that presence, there would not have been the takeover of Iraq by Iran that's taking place and there would have been no chance that the Taliban would be back to mass executions again. Instead, we have the emergence of ISIS and Iran on rails to get nuclear weapons.
Sitting home and wishing nobody will hurt us won't work. Luckily for you and the others like you, there are people like the Marines and soldiers I served with to keep you safe. I have no use for "men" who let others do the fighting for them.
You believe McGovern wasn’t a patriot because you disagreed with him about the Vietnam War?
Yeah, you’re a real defender of veterans.
ISIS exists solely and in entirety because we took out Saddam. If Saddam was still there, you would never have heard of ISIS.
Your reading comprehension is as poor as your analytical skills. I wasn’t a draft-dodger. The draft ended before I was eligible.
You really are McCain. You want to invade and occupy the entire Middle East, a thought so insane that I have heard no one ever express it before. You want US troops permanently in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, etc,.
Brilliant thinking.
ISIS solely exists because Obama threw away our presence there to keep those mad dogs under control. Al Qaeda existed just fine while Saddam was still in power. The issue was and is that Islam foments violence against all other cultures. They are nice and peaceful as long as they are actively resisted but anything but peaceful when we show weakness.
Troops permanently in the area keep the primitives nice and quiet. You would have known something about that if you'd ever left your little burg to join the military service.
Anyone of military age from my generation who didn't serve in the Vietnam War is a "draft-dodger" unless they had some disability that prevented them from serving. That includes clowns like Cheney (I had better things to do") and George Texas Air National Guard Bush.
You don’t seem to understand what a traitor is or isn’t. McGovern did nothing to aid the enemy.
Your insistence that not volunteering to go to a war that makes no sense makes one a draft dodger is nutty.
Your attitude is oddly similar to Germans in the 1930’s.
I was a combatant. I saw the enemy and what he did to his own people and to us. I saw other young men die, almost every day. I was wounded while saving another man’s life and I spent a year recovering and learning how to walk again, eventually.
Those who carried the enemy’s flag and chanted that “Ho Chi Minh is going to win” betrayed us and aided the enemy. Do you really believe that they would have held out, would have won, without the enthusiastic help of American traitors?
Not volunteering means somebody else took your place. Did that guy live? You’ll never know will you?
I have no use at all for people who claim patriotism but never risk themselves when their country is faced with evil. The real men joined, took their chances, gave what they could give. The rest who stayed home aren’t People worthy of trust. Those who supported the enemy by crippling our support aren’t worth warm spit.
We don’t often talk about what we feel about what happened but we all feel it.
