M. Stanton Evans newspaper “Human Events” was part of my reading habit growing up. A grandmother gave me issues she has read.
I also heard his radio commentaries as part of the “Spectrum” series on CBS Radio in the 1970’s.
Liberals shared time in these features with the likes of Evans, Joe Sobran, James J. Kilpatrick and Phyllis Schlafly.

Sorry to hear this. I knew Stan. (I’m an NJC alum.) Brilliant, funny, witty, principled, conservative and a fine writer.
Many people may not know this, but the founding statement of Young Americans for Freedom, the “Sharon Statement”, was primarily written by Stan Evans.
Great Stan Evans quote: “Liberals don’t care what you do, as long as it’s compulsory.”
Great quote and so true.
