Laura Krantz, a former NPR editor & producer, is a Scripps Fellow in environmental journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Late last week, she discovered to her dismay that Colorado’s Obamacare Health Insurance Exchange, Connect for Health Colorado, had inexplicably canceled her health and dental insurance.

When I was 15, I believed, as libs do for their entire lives, that all you have to do is lock a bunch smart pols in a room, and let them think real hard and they will solve any problem you put before them.

So government totally screws up health care with obamacare and this cretin thinks the solution is.... more government adminstered health care! In the form of single-payer.... Stupid, stupid, stupid.... Sometimes I think we are doomed.....
She can have “single payer” any time she’s ready. All she has to do is pay her own damn medical bills.
She has been successfully propagandized to believe that "the insurance companies (capitalists) have totally screwed up the noble promise of Obamacare", and only a full government takeover will give her the free stuff she deserves.
This was the whole point of Obamacare's intentionally flawed implementation.
When do we get a single payer system?
That is the ultimate goal, and it IS coming soon. Watch. Methinks we won't be laughing so much at that point.

Oh, bless your heart! I would have thought this little episode would make you happy since you no doubt advocated for this disaster.
Rather than giving the poor ‘health insurance’ offer ‘health CARE’.
Set up clinics next door to emergency rooms ... which is where the poor get health care anyway...
Then rather than allowing hospitals to charge eight thousand dollars to treat a runny nose, direct the poor person the person to the door marked 'clinic' - charge fifty bucks for an office visit (billed to Uncle Sam) - and change the poor person five bucks for the visit.
A savings of over $7,000.
