If he kills again on camera, the element of surprise will be gone and the reaction may well be, "Oh, him again."

I dont’ care about knowing his name, or what he had for breakfast while a schoolboy. The only thing I want to know about Jihad John is how many bullets it took to kill him, and if the death was quick or excruciatingly drawn out.

Somehow I find it something less than comforting being reassured that knowing the identity of this seriously brain-damaged, suicidal psychopath will hasten his arrest and prosecution.
My shock is that the AP hack thinks knowing who Jihadi John is will lessen the horror of murder. I can’t even express the depth of my contempt for Gregory Katz.

If anything, the fact that an average seeming London Muslim with a good education can become a cold blooded serial killer who takes pride in killing for Allah makes more impact. You will, at the very least, feel uncomfortable around any Muslim youth, wondering if he could be ISIS.
I hadn’t even thought of that. I was too stunned at the authors stupidity.
