You beat me to it! I certainly wouldn’t call that 3-week takeover of the State capitol “peaceful”!

Walker and the State Police were peaceful (and wimpy) by letting them stay there so long, while destroying and damaging property and relieving themselves in the offices and hallways.

I would hope that if the idiots in Austin ever tried such a thing, that the Texas Rangers and Dept. of Pub. Safety officers would have had them out and cuffed before the first day was over.

I was there a few times during the protests in 2011; both inside and outside the Capitol. When I stepped into the Capitol, it smelled like an unkept porta-potty with some Pachuli and marijuana smell thrown in for good measure. I could still smell signs of it in June of 2011, months after the protests ended. That is even considering that my sense of smell is not the best.

And, the protesters were FAR from peaceful. They blocked the North Shore office and harassed volunteers, intimated voters at polling places in Milwaukee and Madison, sent death threats to Walker, Kleefisch and other Republican politicans, caused over 1 million in damages to the capitol and 10 years of wear and tear on the building, cost the state millions in police protection, cost students in the UW thousands in tuition due to cut classes so the professors and TA’s could protest in Madison, vandalized cars of Republican supporters, and dudes in pink dresses attacking Maciver and Franklin Center stringers. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Ah, Yes. Those were Golden Days, weren’t they? Socialists. They’ll ALWAYS show you who they REALLY are when given the opportunity.

*SPIT*

And the local Enemy Media was pretty coy about it all, too. Yes, they ‘covered’ the ‘protests’ every evening, but they sure did NOT portray an accurate picture of what really went down.

Don’t forget all of the Democrats that FLED to Illinois, too.

Again, Socialists; they’ll ALWAYS show you who they REALLY are if given the opportunity.

Yeah, the stuff they are throwing at the Gov. nationally is weak sauce compared to what he's been through.
