Berlin, I did ping all 700 members of the list to your thread for a reason. . . I did not just ignore it. They were free to comment here or on the other thread. I notice that none of them are here. . . probably because you came off as an anti-Apple troll, and they wanted no part of the thread. The rest because it was duplicative in topic and offered nothing new. Had it offered a new perspective I would have said so. It doesn't. It's a rehash of the same basic facts. There's nothing new to see here.

You claim I've failed at managing that Apple/Mac ping list for over ten years. . . Where's your list of Freepers who've asked you to keep them informed and who complain to YOU when there are multiple threads on the same topics!

It's the one thing I get more complaints about and the most often cited reason from people who are requesting their names be dropped off the list. I try to avoid posting more than one thread per topic, and when I find a second thread, I always try to let the list members know it's "another thread on the same topic," and if it has a different perspective I will let them know. Over ten years, the members of the list have found they can trust my knowledge and judgement on articles.

Let me see if I follow that...

You claim to ping your list, of how many active members (doesn’t really matter), to a thread that you say adds nothing (actually at least my item is presented in full, unlike the one you linked me to) and then spam a duplicate post (not merely similar in content) because if you did not - someone might want off your list...?

(And why are we forgetting you did the same two days ago without pinging your list?)

Again you have no reasonable explanation why you would even ping your list to begin with since you claim my thread adds nothing anyway. I am now actually thinking you are a Troll, who is happy now to simply be wasting my time. A Troll looking to ping a list against a FReeper who is not a fellow Fanboy - while using the dog whistle “already posted” as red meat on the table, rather than for any good reason.

You’re right, Berlin_Freeper is an APPLE-HATER TROLL ... who has some serious psychological problems ... such that normal people tend to stay away from people like that ... hence ... the fact that most of the members of the list would prefer to get as far away as possible from crazy people like this.

You really can’t blame these normal and sane people from wanting to stay away from these APPLE-HATER TROLLS ... :-) ...

A very few will come in, just to set the record straight, and thank goodness they will ... otherwise these Apple threads would be like a crazy house run by the psychologically disturbed APPLE-HATER TROLLS ... LOL ...
