Gov. Scott Walker refuses to let the media dictate the conversation.
There has been much discussion about a media double standard where Republicans are covered differently than Democrats, asked to weigh in on issues the Democrats don't face," the potential GOP presidential candidate wrote Wednesday in an op-ed for USA Today. "As a result, when we refuse to take the media's bait, we suffer."
The Wisconsin Republican's commentary comes on the heels of comments made by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who questioned whether President Obama loves America during a private dinner featuring Walker. Since then, the media has been all over Walker -- and other potential 2016ers -- looking for them to respond to Giulianis comments....

"....Walker op-ed is definitional: one bad brush w/ national media and he goes into self-righteous self-protective crouch." - Glen Thrush
Sounds like Walker is over the target. Right now, most fire is aimed at him.
“If you are looking for answers to those questions, ask those people, he wrote, adding, I will always choose to focus on what matters to the American people, not what matters to the media.
Bam, there it is.
Walker has had FAR more that “one bad brush” with the media, and this octomarroon doesn’t get it, because he is a CHILD.
Walker has them by their short hairs— do NOT accept the premise or the agenda of the question. Set the definition, and you set the debate. Facts being stick commodities, and results being repeatable and proveable.
I still think that the response that Rubio came up with was the best. Walker should note it for future reference.
Gov. Christie is trying to imitate:
Christie bashes liberal media "New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) blasted the media on Thursday during his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
"I don't care what they write about me in The New York Times. They can keep it," Christie said during his question and answer session with conservative radio host Laura Ingraham........."
Next time Scott Walker should say,
“There you go again.”
What was it?
Oh yes! That was the original comeback.
huffpo called it “his cowardly non answers” or some such crap like that. He won’t take the bait so they have to call him names like a 6 year old...........What a bunch a babies.
...Right before he grabbed some liberal media photographers and dragged them to a photo-op of Christy hugging Obama.
He began by pointing out that the Democrats weren’t asked to comment every time Biden did something dumb, and the concluded by saying he had no reason to believe that Obama didn’t love this country. But that in his opinion Obama’s policies were wrong.

Mr. Thrush, how did Obama react to questions about his academic background, again? Oh, yeah, he spend millions in legal fees to become the only President in US history to seal his records.
How's that for self-righteous self-protective crouching?
Demorat intellectuals.
and the concluded by saying he had no reason to believe that Obama didnt love this country. But that in his opinion Obamas policies were wrong..... Wow! Was he wrong.
No, I like Walker’s response better.
The premise of Rubio’s reference to Biden might lead the listener to think that Rubio equates what Giuliani said to the absolute inanity that drools out of Biden’s mouth on a regular basis. Rubio’s response is still a slight to Giuliani and opens a wedge that the media can and will exploit.
Walker’s basically said if you want to know the answers, go to the source as I don’t know one way or another and it’s not on my priority list. No opening there to exploit.
