States are finally starting to wake up. Some states now require you to show up for a state job, perhaps cleaning toilets in public buildings, but a job nonetheless, before you can collect welfare payments. And, guess what's happening to welfare payments in those states that have such a policy? As to the black social problems and the decline of the black family unit, I see no effort on the part of the black community to address these problems. And until such effort is forthcoming, I see no reason to support the current welfare programs that pay money to able-bodied workers.
