The simple fact is that most women (and many men) have no interest in doing the work required to excel in the STEM fields; the women demand the pay/titles, but don’t want the actual work.

I see the same in finance; just pay them, but don’t expect anything. On a positive note, I’ve been working a lot less hours since they started promoting tokens; what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Why would I work a minute of unpaid overtime (as a “salaried” worker) when the tokens already come in later/leave earlier than me?

There are times... more and more frequently too, when I think that our current experiment in a ‘representative republic’ is doomed to failure. But then I have the feeling of hope that this is like a pendulum and it will swing back eventually to a better place.

Frankly... only time will tell.
