Well, we can fight with either facts or clubs - their behavior leads us to clubs.
As CitizenUSA suggests, it may appear they are irrational but it is now increasingly clear that such behavior is a necessary part of their focused agenda; they change the rules and arguments as circumstances dictate, they deny the sensible use of facts and logic, etc., whatever it takes to advance the revolution.
That is one reason why the enforcement of properly enacted laws is so vital to our survival - that yesterday’s best thinking will help control today’s circumstances.
