Probably a Democrat, so there’s nothing to see here.

Now, give a Republican a free donut and He Must Resign!

Stender the Big Spender
Of course spending with other people’s money, never their own.

We give a lot of goods and money to Habitat for Humanity....I may have to RE-THINK that since they helped someone with a HALF MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE ON THE SHORE!!!

Democrats are LIARS and CHEATERS...PERIOD.....there is not one good decent one.

Not that I'm making excuses but in these parts, a $465K home is pretty much equivalent to a cottage.

Sleazy dem0crats. Only good enough for ‘government work,’ useless in the private sector.

This may be perfectly alright. I have wealthy clients who donate to Habitat for Humanity by giving them items they deconstructed from their home. These could include windows, doors, cabinets, etc. I understand that Habitat will sometime send a crew to help with deconstruction so to preserve the items.

I can see where it could be easy to spin out of context.

So did they get help demolishing their home, or did Habitat offer to help in exchange for whatever they could recover for their Re-Store such as all the fixtures and appliances that could be recovered from the home?

Gonna bet that the later is more likely. Now of course, it'd be fun to pull the tax records for the politician and see if he wrote off the entire ‘donation’ of goods to Habitat, or just the difference between the value of the goods, and the value of the demolition.

‘course, if the home was declared a total loss, claiming the value of donations from that home which is now owned by the insurance company would be grand theft and tax fraud...

This really pisses me off. Monmouth/Ocean County is a Republican district and most people either lost their homes or parted with their pocketbooks.
