Well yes, I guess that’s true, particularly taking into account WWI, WWII, Russian Revolution, Stalinist Russia.

However I think America has gotten Germany & Italy and the rest of western Europe pretty well domesticated for the past 70 years. Not so much for the world’s Islamists, huh?
