Che Guevara’s Daughter Delighted with Obama’s Cuba Policy

Che Guevara’s daughter Aleida is in Canada this week whooping up president Obama’s opening to the Stalinist regime her father co-founded, and saying he’d certainly approve.

She’s absolutely correct. Aside from her father, few people knew from first-hand experience how easily U.S. officials can be snookered. To wit:

“I am not a communist and have never been a communist. It gives me great pain to be called a communist. (Ernesto “Che” Guevara” in the New York Times, Jan. 4th 1959.) Then—like now—The New York Times served essentially as press agency for the U.S. State Department.

Oh, I know, I know, your professors, Hollywood, and the History Channel all claim that U.S. officialdom was unremittingly beastly to the Castroites from day one. These insensitive, uncaring brutes sat with their friends chugging beer during this figurative Super Bowl, ignoring the emotional needs of the Castroites and occasionally barking “bring me another beer!” at them from the sofa, between whooping at touchdowns and ogling the cheerleaders. Finally they forced the Castroites to run into the arms of Mother Russia, sniffling and heart-broken.

If so, explain this:

“Me and my staff were all Fidelista.” (Robert Reynolds, the CIA’s “Caribbean Desk chief on the Cuban Revolution” from 1957-1960. Reynolds was visiting Cuba and chumming it up with Fidel himself at the time of his boast, during a conference” in 2001.)

“Everyone in the CIA and everyone at State was pro-Castro, except (Republican) ambassador Earl Smith.” (CIA operative in Santiago Cuba 1957’59, Robert Weicha.)

“Don’t worry. We’ve infiltrated Castro’s guerrilla group in the Sierra Mountains. The Castro brothers and Ernesto “Che” Guevara have no affiliations with any Communists whatsoever.” (crackerjack Havana CIA station chief Jim Noel 1958.)

"Without U.S. help Fidel Castro would never have gotten into power,” flatly testified former U.S. Ambassador to Cuba, Earl T. Smith during Congressional testimony in 1960.

In fact, Raul Castro had been supervised by a KGB handler since 1953, and when arrested in Mexico in 1956, Ernesto "Che" Guevara was found to have, in his very wallet, the calling card of the KGB's top Latin American agent, Nikolai Leonov. Cuban officials, who knew full well how the CIA was helping the Castro rebels, desperately tried getting this information to president Eisenhower—but the vital revelations were always highjacked by the State Department on their way up the bureaucratic pipe.

After being shoe-horned into power by them, Che Guevara was hardly finished with his snookering of America’s “Best and Brightest.” In July 1961, for instance, he met with President Kennedy’s special counsel Richard Goodwin during an OAS conference in Uruguay. “Che says that Cuba wants an understanding with the U.S.,” gushed a wide-eyed Goodwin to Kennedy. “The Cubans have no intention of making an alliance with the Soviets. So we should make it clear to Castro that we want to help Cuba.” (how Che managed a straight face during this conversation requires a book of its own.)

You see, Raul Castro was in Moscow at this very time making preparations with his Soviet overlords for, among other things, nuclear missiles to be snuck into Cuba.

Not to worry! Our crackerjack CIA and State Department, probably influenced by Che Guevara’s “disclosures” to Goodwin, were again on full alert:

"The USSR could derive considerable military advantage from the establishment of medium and intermediate range ballistic missiles in Cuba. But this would be incompatible with Soviet practice to date and with Soviet policy as we presently estimate it." (CIA estimate, Sept 19, 1962.)

(These missiles are) "nothing but refugee rumors. Nothing in Cuba presents a threat to the United States. There's no likelihood that the Soviets or Cubans would try and install an offensive capability in Cuba."(a sneering National Security Advisor, McGeorge Bundy, on ABC's Issues and Answers, October 14, 1962.)

"There's fifty-odd-thousand Cuban refugees in this country, all living for the day when we go to war with Cuba. They're the ones putting out this kind of stuff (about missiles.)" ( a sneering Pres. John F. Kennedy, Oct. 15th, 1962.)

Exactly 24 hours after President Kennedy’s sneer against these insufferable Cuban exiles, U-2 photos sat on his desk showing those "refugee rumors," pointed directly at Bundy, JFK, and their entire staff of Ivy League wizards.

But let’s fast forward a bit—to this week in fact. As I write, Nancy Pelosi and a delegation of Democrats are in Havana setting the stage for removing Cuba from the State Department‘s list of Terror-Sponsoring nations and for increasing the flood of cash from the U.S. to the Castro regime via remittances and travel (estimated at $4 billion last year, more than used to flow to Cuba from its Soviet overlords.)

This policy for further enriching the Castro regime is based on a promise from Pelosi’s Cuban negotiating partner, Josefina Vidal, that Cuba means nobody –especially the U.S. –any harm whatsoever. Josefina Vidal is a KGB-trained intelligence agent who was booted from the U.S. during Bush administration for spying.

And as Pelosi, etc. chum it up in Havana with Stalinist apparatchiks a Venezuelan defector is in the U.S. testifying to the DEA how Raul Castro (currently) facilitates huge cocaine shipments into the U.S.—in brief, a very similar crime to Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega’s back in the late 80’s.

Noriega woke up on Dec. 20th, 1989 to find 30,000 U.S. Marines and GI’s storming his nation and sits in a Panamanian prison today. Raul and Fidel Castro woke up this week to find Nancy Pelosi in their fiefdom greasing the skids to further enrich them, their family and their military drug-running cronies.

Who can blame the Castros for laughing?

Che was a homicidal psychopath, first and foremost, independent on anything else.

If he had ever found himself in the middle east he would have been screaming alley ackbar louder than any of them.

So Che Guevara’s daughter gets her feewings hurt when someone calls her a communist.

1). Who gives a tin squat about Che Guevara’s daughter?
2). If she’s so offended by being called a communist, then stop being a communist.
3). I doubt anyone is calling HER anything. It’s her murdering barbarian of a father people talk about.

Che would love America as much as Barry Soetoro does as long as it has been “fundamentally transformed” by a bunch of seriously, mentally retarded, Marxist college kiddies.
