It was announced today that Tim Miller, former exec. director of the conservative America Rising PAC, will be the the communications director for Jeb Bush's upcoming presidential campaign. Miller is an out gay man. But more than that, he loves to mock conservatives who speak about the ills of marriage equality.

For instance, he tweeted this about the fear mongering of groups like the Iowa Family Policy Council:

"On 1 yr anniversary of Iowa gay marriage ruling, IFPC's worst fears are realized: Rabbit/Child Lovemaking"

He also mocked his fellow Republicans who say marriage equality hurts Rob Portman:

"Portman is so damaged by SSM support that his approval rating is only 15 pts better than the guy Ohio just elected President"

Bush is acting as though he has the nomination in hand. The typical GOP candidate formula is, work from the right during the primary to win the nomination, then move to the center (left) to try to pick up independents in a bid to win the general.

If this is how he positions himself during the primary, imagine what it’s going to be like when her moves to the “center”.
