A flat out admission that ObamaCare is an unmitigated economic and political disaster. And the longer allowed to fester before being abolished, the more disastrous it will be.

Oh boy. When leftists start screeching about how much it’s going to cost if one of their multi-trillion-dollar pipe dream programs gets cancelled, you know they’re scared.

The SCOTUS will rule in favor of subsidies, 6-3 (Roberts, Kennedy). You heard it here first.

If they had some blackmail material on Roberts before, they’ll probably kidnap one of Kennedy’s relatives for this one, just to be sure.

You can bet your ass they won’t rule against it, no matter what....

Good. Repealing Obamacare could save the states and the federal government even more billions and billions of dollars. In addition, a repeal could make medical care more accessible to those who now have insurance “coverage” but no access to care, and to those who were priced out of coverage by Obamacare but are now blocked from care too because of that terrible law.

“If you want a sense of just how far-reaching the impact of a Supreme Court decision gutting Obamacare subsidies could prove . . ..”

Don’t they mean “Supreme Court decision that applies the law as written. . ..?”

Washpost has a misleading headline.

“cost the states billions”? The subsidies are not a cost to the state or to the recipients of the subsidy. The cost is to federal taxpayers who are funding the illegal subsidy.

The headline should be “A Supreme Court decision against Obamacare would save taxpayers billions and billions of dollars”

Actually, the states would lose nothing except headaches. The moochers and the insurance companies will lose billions. The states would net out the same because doctors will not take the moochers as patients and they will use the emergency rooms as they always have which the state pays for.

All the accounting lies about the ACA are about to catch up with the Feds.
This particular “story” is just one of many.
The numbers of people who are supposedly eligible for tax subsidies on the illegal exchanges are inflated based upon one simple qualifier:
Does your employer offer you a chance to participate in an employer negotiated/provided insurance policy?
If yes,Stop.
You are not eligible for federal subsidies or exchange rates.
If no, go on to the next question.

Do your exchange insurance premiums exceed 8% of your income?
Stop.
You are exempt from the ACA penalties.

BTW, The government/IRS is no longer providing free tax instruction pamphlets to local libraries, or automatically mailing them to taxpayers.

It's a government money saving measure...LOL!

You can request one from the IRS.
I advise everyone to do so.

I don’t understand how the STATES would be losing any money. From what I understand, it would be the individuals policy holders who are receiving subsidies who would be losing money. Is this not correct?
