Weeks after the New England Patriots Super Bowl victory the DeflateGate scandal continues to rumble on in the background. According to ESPNs Outside the Lines, a Patriots locker room attendant attempted to introduce an unapproved special teams ball into the AFC Championship game.
The attendant, identified by ESPN as Jim McNally, is said to have been in charge of the officials locker room at Gilette Stadium since 2008. He is alleged to have handed a ball, which wasnt officially approved for kick-offs, field goals and punts to an official during the first-half of the Patriots 45-7 victory over the Colts.

Oh here’s something important.
I wonder, where in the pantheon of woes will the deflategate settle when the Republic collapses into economic mayhem?
If they were called the New England Transvestites, or some such, rather than the Tea-Party like “Patriots,” ESPN and NBC would be having a 24/7 lovefest, the likes of which have not been seen since Michael Sam was drafted.
Michael Sam... what ever happened to that guy? He was the Lefties NFL salvation a year ago....
After that last play by Seattle’s offense...I’d accuse Belichick of practicing voodoo.
It was the official’s job to approve or not approve the one errant football that was handed to him.
The Pats scored four touchdowns in the AFC Championship game after the footballs were replaced. (I assume this includes the one unapproved football).
Michael $cam i$ now doing blog$, etc. trying to $tay relevant $ince hi$ $cheme to force a pro career failed mi$erably
Um, who cares?
Belichick wore a Gadsen Tshirt. Of course the leftscum are going after him.
The “Little League” has shown what should be done.
Let the cover up begin!
ESPN is always slobbering over them!
An underinflated ball in cold weather gives that team a big advantage.
"What difference does it make?!"
Read the article again...it says this football suddenly popped up at halftime...
Officials "approve" & "disapprove" balls before the game...not during the game...not even halftime.
The Pats scored four touchdowns in the AFC Championship game after the footballs were replaced. (I assume this includes the one unapproved football).
Again. Read the article. The ball now being questioned wasn't in use for the Patriot offense...so the "4 tds" you reference doesn't matter for Patriot kickoffs, Patriot punts, and Patriot field goals.
And one of those 4 "second half" tds was one set up by an interception...a 13 yd drive with no pass plays...not sure why Pat die-hards keep referencing it.
(Yeah, all those NFL refs are "lefties"...another shoot-the-whistleblower cr*p comment)

Nice sentence. Could have read '...grabbed the wrong ball for a kicking play...'.
In the NFC championship game, we know seattle used the wrong ball on a play. They ran a fake field goal, but I think they just lined up in that formation to get the balls switched out...Pete Carroll is a known cheater, they should have to vacate their NFC championship because of this intentional deception.
Hey, that was kinda fun. No wonder this thing lingers...
Mind control.
During the game in question, ESPN are alleging that Greg Yette, an official at the game became suspicious when he noticed that a football that McNally handed him did not have the proper markings on it.What was even more alarming was the fact McNally was on the field trying hand him a ball.
