The root cause of the root cause of our inability to defeat the enemies of man is that we (US leadership) frame the questions and solutions in an absurd vacuum.

If the premise is that people want to lop of my head do so because they are angry, poor, uneducated, mislead and radicalized and they ONLY way to beat them is to HELP them see the light, then we are doomed to failure again and again.

This is what we have seen since 1973-75. It has been the “Fall of Saigon” or “Fall of (you fill in the blank) since then because we fail to define the problem and solutions correctly. It has been a rare US leader who defined the problem and the resultant solution correctly. The last one was Reagan.

The solution is to deplete their ranks by killing many of them. If we had our act together we would have been carpet bombing ISIS held areas 6 months ago with B-52s while supporting all our allies instead of stabbing them in the back.

What liberals haven't figured out yet (as if they ever will) is that millions of the earth's residents don't follow rational paths to satisfy themselves. Millions are driven by primal urges to kill, rape, pillage, torture, etc.

No amount of providing jobs, counseling, or better educations will fill their needs like slaughtering innocent people or raping captive females. What you have is many thousands of little Ted Bundys running off to the mideast to satisfy their inner savage.
