No, it is confirmation that the cult is happy with crappy products and service - as would be expected.
I’m an AAPL shareholder and the car business makes zero sense. I don’t buy the rumors. I can see them teaming up with TSLA for batteries to power devices. That makes sense. AAPl is an iPhone company. That was a disruptive technology that completely changed an industry and where they make all their money. Cars? no... There has to be more to this story.
Let’s take your thought and apply it to what Apple does best...... make computers. The I phone reduced to the lowest factor is a small computer with a phone app.
Wouldn’t it be most logical to assume Tesla went to Apple to obtain an all new onboard do everything computer?
Doesn’t Tesla effectively use an ipad for their onboard touchscreen system now? Now they might be customizing that and making a new generation of systems for the automobile industry.

A 10% import tariff on all Apple products ought to take away the slave labor profit. Then Apple can choose whether to cut into their multi-billion dollar profit or pass it on to chumps like you.
