On the one hand, given the gravity of the situation, this picture strikes me as borderline tasteless. I’d hate to be family or friends of the victim and run across it.

That stated, it’s well-conceived and decently-executed. I think it would probably be a little less distressing to some were it drawn as a cartoon, using generic characterizations of the savage and the victim.

And, on another note: Imagine the howls if someone were to use this as an idea for Halloween costumes next year...

I don’t understand the flap.

To be critical of the president is to misunderstand. The only thing that matters, the prime directive, is to follow the schedule. Any event not on the schedule or happening outside will be dealt with at some future and convenient time. To not adhere rigidly to the schedule disrupts the harmonious flow and the mental comprehension of what’s happening

then there is dithering. To not adhere to the schedule and act quickly prevents dithering. For Obama, dithering is the way problems with current events are handled. To dither is to be blameless
