CORBIN, Ky. (AP) A 16-year-old boy killed in a shootout Saturday with police in Maryland, prompted the search of his home over 500 miles away in Kentucky, where authorities found the bodies of his parents and younger sister.
Friends and relatives of Jason Hendrix were struggling to understand how the boy, a faithful churchgoer who was baptized just two months ago, could end up as the suspect in the slayings.
Hendrix, a Kentucky high school ROTC student and active church member, was angry at his parents for taking away his computer privileges when he's suspected of killing his family execution-style before fleeing to Maryland, where he died in a shootout with police, the town's police chief said Sunday.

Lord help us.
Probably has been on several ADHD and other drugs like antidepressants. Its the common thread in every case where a young person flips their lid and kills multiple people.

Most likely he is just a cold hearted violent thug.
Medication is neither a cause or excuse for violent actions.
Is that an arrest photo?
Sooooo
The Muzzies do this too. Flip their lids because of drugs...
Nope my friend. They are just evil.
Lord help us.
Happens all the time and Lord isn't helping anyone.
I’d want to ask, however, how good an influence they are trying to be. Good attitudes are caught. It is not frequent that they are successfully taught by hypocrites. If the parents are worldlings, then children will see and follow no matter what they are told by these people. The spiritual equation will never add up for the children, without an independent source.
Too often the substance of faith disappears and it turns into superficial ceremony.
The Lord will not force help on someone who does not want it.
Jesus warned about the kind of anger that leads to sin! Also, it’s getting to be like the days of Noah, when violence filled the earth. It’s certainly looking like that these days. Jesus warned that judgement upon the earth comes soon as we approach the “days of Noah”. The world is due for the coming judgement.
Wow. According to the article he went to church that night to meet up with friends after he had killed his entire family. His friends said he acted normal.
Blurry -—but he almost looks like he has makeup on. And if it is an arrest photo, then he’s not the good little boy before the shootings as implied because when could it have been taken?
Well Stated.
its a REAL mess.
Some very evil influence, though how it came to bear is not clear. It would be tempting to conjecture temporary insanity; it’s one thing for an adult like Ted Bundy to get into this, but there is much less time for a child to brew up this kind of evil on his lonesome.
This guy probably has a long history of being an undisciplined spoiled brat
Investigators there discovered college professor Dr. Sarah Hendrix, her husband Kevin and their daughter Grace dead inside the couples home.
He obviously was not a Christian. The Lord died for our sins and gave us eternal life. I would consider that “helping anyone.”
A kid kills his parents, runs to another state, and has a shootout with local cops.
Could be that he couldn’t run away from himself, couldn’t turn himself in for the knowledge of what MIGHT be awaiting him, so he goes out in a gunfight, since he might not have been able to bring himself, to save the cops the trouble.
It is ‘another story in the big city’, and might not be the last. Computer addiction has been confirmed in these days, and not to porn first. Social media is so much a part of American life, that if a local blackout does happen, think of the ‘going-offs’ that might occur!
