ISIS is a terror threat, but is simply not a military force that could ever fight a set battle against Marines. They arrive in towns where a low end military flees, possibly after minor skirmishes. Then they proceed to do the SS routine and murder random civilians and everyone they capture.
They are indeed hell against the weak. But essentially they are like a criminal gang with more money.
They have not won any battle against an American quality force ever. The only battle they had with US forces I am aware of is when they assaulted a SF camp outside of Baghdad. They were handily repelled with very heavy casualties.
They aren’t 10 feet tall. This is basically the USMC against the Crips on a road trip. God help them if they ever take on 300 Marines, even without the horrendous fire support our guys will have. ISIS isn’t the Japanese or Chinese army, they aren’t the NVA or VC.
i don’t necessarily disagree with your assessment. If they are not much of a fighting force than why are they are still breathing? we should do whatever it takes and just wipe them out and be done with them

But ISIS has one advantage over the Marines: they dont have obama as their commander in chief.
make sure the Marines have bullets. the way this president acts, he just might not supply them.
