The origin of submit or be killed order was never ever made directly from God in either of the two previous testaments but from instruction given through an “Angel” claiming to represent God. Therefore suspect and not from God. Before any premeptive defensive effort is made that assumption by the attacker must be corrected first. And the rejection of it welcomed.
