ALBANY — Former City Council Speaker Christine Quinn is joining Gov. Cuomo’s administration as a special adviser to the governor, the Daily News has learned.
Quinn will be a part-time staffer until mid-April when she finishes her stint as a resident fellow at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics, a source said.
After that, she will jump on board full-time.
Quinn headed up the Cuomo-created Women’s Equality Party in 2014 during the governor’s reelection campaign.
In fact, I think they even interviewed her on-air.
There was also a story about this in the NY Post a few weeks ago.

Oh Christine—just ride into the sunset! I guess once you get a taste of public life, either you want more and more—or you either have a break down and say enough is enough. How did this woman ever become head of the city council? I never found her exceptionally bright. Was it because the City Council at the time wanted to show exceptional diversity and needed to choose a lesbian? I do know she rode on Tom Duane’s coattails through involvement in gay politics (Tom actually is a very nice guy btw.) Actually what really turned me against her was the way she sucked up to Bloomberg and the third term issue.
