FBI Director James Comey addresses the "hard truths" of racism in a speech at Georgetown University on Thursday:
JAMES COMEY, FBI DIRECTOR: One reason we cannot forget our law enforcement legacy is that the people we serve and protect cannot forget it, either. So we must talk about our history. It is a hard truth that lives on.
A second hard truth: Much research points to the widespread existence of unconscious bias. Many people in our white-majority culture have unconscious racial biases and react differently to a white face than a black face. In fact, we all, white and black, carry various biases around with us. I am reminded of the song from the Broadway hit, Avenue Q: Everyones a Little Bit Racist. Part of it goes like this:

I think the use of racist in this context was a ppor choice of words.
Everyone has biases. When we act on that bias without consideration, we might slip into racism.
Hey FBI (Federal Bureau of Instigation) Director James Comey speak for yourself you idiot POS.
I’ve lived in cities most of my life and have found that to not be the case. By “anyone”, I meant precisely that.
is everyone in obammy’s gub mint an a-hole?
That quote should be thrown in Jackson’s face whenever he thinks to even speak in public.
Racism is when you see someone of a different race and have a desire to harm them for no other reason.
It’s annoying that leftists have equated fear with hate; it diminishes the meaning of racism and excuses racism as being ‘natural’. Fear is natural, racism is not.
Hate is something people stoke and cultivate with the aim of affecting the victim , usually to exert control, while fear is just a desire to flee the possible dangers of the unknown.
I figure liberals feel the need to equate these very different behaviors to excuse their own very real oppressive racism by claiming “everybody does it.”
What about Yugoslavia?
... ah, never mind.
That last thing is what makes Comey unqualified for the job he holds.
“Thug” is supposed to be a dog-whistle code for minority, but when I think “thug”, I think of the white union thugs who threatened to break my arms when I was 16 years old. I’m prejudiced against people who remind me of those who threatened me in the past, including union members and those who look/act like union thugs or like other thugs. I don’t see that as a bad thing.
Am I racist; or, am I in love?..You haven’t spent a week with crazy Uncle Ed, yet
” Racism is when you see someone of a different race and have a desire to harm them for no other reason.”
Correct.
Well then, you are too, director.
He obviously doesn’t believe that. He means that all Whiteys are racist.
Someone perceived as being “from another tribe” is always going to be viewed with a bit of suspicion,
because you don’t inherently have the same value system.
This is why “diversity is strength” is such a lie.
The same people who didn’t treat the different very well.
Everyone is a little bit racist. Determining one race is more racist than another is impossible as far as I know. How did you figure it out?
Particular but UNIVERSAL:
Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel. Leon Uris, The Haj
“Everyone’s A Little Bit more Racist than they were 7 years ago.”
Fixed it.
1) Asians
2) Blacks
3) Hispanics
4) Caucasians
FTR, here is the song he was referencing. It’s from “Avenue Q”.

Just give 'em the eye-contact "Make my day" icy stare...and be prepared to back it up.
