Kanye West has threatened to boycott next years Grammy Awards unless bosses agree to change the voting process to allow the most commercially successful artists to take home the top trophies.
The rapper avoided the ceremony for six years because of his concerns about how the awards are dished out, but he made a long-awaited return to the prizegiving on Sunday night.
West caused controversy at the show by invading the stage to protest when Beck won the Album of the Year prize over his pal Beyonce, and he has now insisted he will not return in 2016 unless awards bosses change the system to favour artists with the most popular records.
During an interview with DJ Ryan Seacrest, which airs on the U.K.s Heat Radio on Thursday, West calls for a meeting with the men behind the Grammys, Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow and Recording Academy Chair Emeritus Jimmy Jam, to discuss his suggestions.
West says, (I boycotted the Grammys for) six years... I will not go (again) until I sit with Neil, sit with Jimmy Jam and fix the voting system to be more in accord with the popular votes because popularity is what is needed to sell commercials... A revolution of inspiration can only be had when the older generation combines with the younger generations.

Are you kidding me!!?? Threatening to boycott the Grammys?!! I don't give a sh!t if Mr West sets himself on fire and dives head first onto a cesspool. A legend in his own mind. He is setting himself up for a big fall.

Let’s turn this around:
How about the Grammy Awards boycotting West & not allowing him to attend?
He is being a total jerk.
To: rickmichaels
Since West hates white people so much, maybe the time has come to have a separate awards show for Kanye and his queen, Beyoncé, and then have an awards show for everyone else. Maybe Kanye and Beyoncé can be given The Kanye trophy. Don’t want to keep pissin’ the little boy off. His tantrums are embarrassing to watch.

If you want awards for being popular, or having the most sales, that is what the RIAA awards are for, dummy. Grammys are supposed to be about quality.
To: rickmichaels
change the voting process to allow the most commercially successful artists to take home the top trophies. So Taylor Swift and the Frozen soundtrack will win every Grammy?
