I’m sorry to hear Simon died in an automobile accident.

But to your point, I quit watching in the ‘90s and I think everyone but Steve Kroft was eligible to draw on Social Security.

After after the NorKs, Cubans, Soviets, and ChiComs, American Network News anchors cling to power the longest.

At one time 60 Minutes was considered a top notch investigative news magazine which always had a segment on some famous Hollywood star. When I say, “star,” I mean some Hollywood greats who actually knew how to act back in the day when Hollywood movies were decent, not the pornographic/violent krap released today. The show was informative and entertaining.

I haven't watched in years. True actors died off and the fossils who hosted the show started to espouse liberal garbage. The investigations turned into witch hunts aimed primarily at conservative figures.

But be that as it may — rest in peace, Mr.Simon and may God give comfort to your family and friends.
