They would better look at it with fear. After all, China is next door.

It would be interesting to see two equally brutal communist regimes go toe to toe with each other. If they actually did, I would expect that the world’s population would decrease by a significant number. Unfortunately, the economic fallout would also destroy most of the world’s economy as a result, especially if the russians managed to wipe china off of the map.

“Back on the Russian side, we met businessman Dmitry Gudzovskiy, who runs two Chinese restaurants in Blagoveschensk.

He outlined the problems of doing business in Russia - the endless battle with bureaucracy, and to stay on the right side of the many laws.

“Not a single businessman will tell you on camera that he is paying bribes, but you should guess yourself,” he said.

“You cannot do everything correctly in business, it’s just impossible. If you will act as it is written in law you should stop your business right now and just go home.

“I think that the biggest problem of the Russian economy is that there is no dialogue between the Russian government and businessmen, they don’t talk to us, they treat us as vassals.””

It’s getting that way over here.

This is what Putin should have focused on. Instead he let his machismo get the best of him, and now look at the mess.

His economy is melting down. The rubble is worthless. He’s got the Western world that could be beating a path to his doorstep to purchase goods, cutting off trade with him.

Simply brilliant.

On the bright side, the Russians are too stupid to notice what a f/u he is.
