A fraternity at the University of Texas at Austin is taking heat for hosting an alleged "border patrol" party at its house within spitting distance of the university campus on Saturday night.
Partygoers attending a bash hosted by UT's chapter of the national Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, known as Texas Fiji, wore ponchos, sombreros and construction gear while others wore military camouflage outfits near photo cutout boards of people in traditional Mexican garb, a bar painted to look like a Mexican flag and a giant cutout of Patrón tequila.
University officials said Monday that they are investigating the situation.
"As a university, we take this very seriously," UT spokesman Gary Susswein said.

Went to UT. Went to Baylor. Proud of going to Baylor. Hated UT and the damned orange and purple haired dykes. But the Baylor Beauties! Whew!

Actually, I’m pleasantly surprised that there are at least some UT students who have the sense of humor and cajones to pull this off, considering the suffocating liberal indoctrination they swim in on a daily basis.
Where is national lampoon when you need it?
It would be VERY INTERESTING if the new sheriffs in Austin (i.e., new governor and new Lt. gov, especially) threaten to withhold some spending for antics like this at the schools that THEY FUND.
