While President Obama attempted to eviscerate a wholly righteous anger in the hearts and minds of the American people earlier this week--he took to chastisement as his verbal bludgeon of choice.
But that anger, is an anger that is directed at the Islamic State for more or less living up to the basic tenets of their holy book. Those who do not share a reverence for it, rightfully point out this hypocrisy with concern for the welfare of our own children.
The President's choice of venues to express these sentiments was also quite odd. The National Prayer Breakfast was once known as a time to exalt "Christ above all others."
So of course it makes complete sense for him to go out of his way to add the Dalai Llama, several Muslim Brotherhood members, and a few other ingredients to the mix.
Because...
You know...
The 3600 in attendance were 98% Christian.
That he would yammer on about the importance of the presence of the Llama, discuss the atrocities of Christians (a thousand years ago,) and ignore the acts "done in the name of Islam," demonstrated the contempt he even has for the very event--much less the prayer it generates to support his administration.
His justification of modern day ISIS in any regard is stomach churning.
But using his equivalent third grade perspective of history to tell us this went beyond ignorance to willful "misremembering."
The benefit of such is that thousands of memes, Twitter users, and social media conversations have taken his poor historical aptitude to task.
Which they should have.
For the sake of space here let me summarize the portion of history President Obama flunked.
In the Mohammadian era, Mohammed and the other reprobates he inspired to follow him, decided they were gonna rape who they wanted, destroy what they wished, and steal what wasn't theirs.
Obviously this agenda really struck a chord with the deprived, brain-washed, abusers who could keep neither steady jobs nor adult relationships in their lives.
Because the doctrine of "jihad" allowed/s them to go to war if someone was disrespecting, insulting, or in some cases just telling the truth about this perverted system of belief they were encouraged to kill all who doubted, disagreed, or disbelieved.
So for over 400 plus years these gangs attacked Arabia, large portions of Eastern Europe, the land of Abraham, and even swaths of Western Europe. (Close to two-thirds of the known world.)
Christians were beheaded, burned, buried alive, and mostly beaten in every region.
For 400 years...
The Crusades were the reason that most of those exploits except for the area around modern day and historic Israel were reversed.
Did they force conversion? Many will say yes. But did they kill all who disagreed?
No!
In large measure they simply pushed Muslims back to the lands where Mohammed started his glorified nightmare of a religion.
Muslims had not been nearly so kind in their initial assaults.
How terribly ironic it is to this day that the ones who lost "their" unjustly conquered territories still hold a grudge against those who kicked them out by labeling the nations that descended from them as "Crusaders."
So as the President told us all to get off of our high horse--while he simultaneously mounted his (yet one more historical reference he should've looked up before using)--he literally had no idea of what comparison he was making.
Not to mention the fact that slavery was never performed "in the name of Christ"--though it still is to this day "in the name of Islam." And that while Christians themselves overwhelmingly agitated and produced the abolition of slavery in western lands, nary a Muslim has dared to do the same.
The old saying goes: "Those that do not remember the lessons of history, are doomed to repeat them."
In forgetting all about the origins of that time, President Obama also stealthily ignored the atrocities being done today in Islam's name.
The "High Horse" was reserved for the victorious general. It was a steed of honor to declare victory over the known enemy.
Our President neither understands who our enemy is, nor what the victor must do to defeat them.
My earnest prayer is that it doesn't require 400 years of rape, terror, conquest, and beheadings by Allah's jihadists for us to understand the lessons of history and what we must do to assure the watching world that they will never be repeated again.

it’s very funny/odd that the ‘Christian Crusades’ are always mentioned but the ‘Muslim Crusades’ which begat the Christian crusades is NEVER mentioned- The FACT is that the Christian crusades were a defensive act against muslim aggression that had been ongoing for quite some time- The Christian crusades were a direct result of the MUSLIM CRUSADES that were waged against Christians and Jews. Muhammad initiated and ordered aggression against the Christian ‘infidels’ and ordered that their lands be taken by the sword- which they did!
I don’t hear anyone on Fox news getting the FACTS out to the public who are largely ignorant of what actually happened, and who mistakenly think the Christian Crusades were an order by the church to plunder, murder and convert via the sword- the Crusades were NOT - Some crusaders did go astray, however, they were NOT doing so under the orders from the church, they were doing so under the influence of the evil one because these people were NOT saved to begin with- God NEVER ordered such atrocities, and those few that did so were NOT following orders from God- Period!

The Crusades were a DEFENSIVE action against a Muslim invasion of the West. They had already taken Jerusalem and kicked out all Christians and Jews. Pope Urban II started the first Crusade in 1095 at the request of the Orthodox church in Constantinople. They needed help defending themselves against the beheaders.

My Mother has wondered a very chilling idea- She has said that she believes He may go for “President of the UN” (which may be why he has proposed so many laws that allow the UN to take unprecedented control of the US- land rules that allow the UN to monitor how land is used in the US in terms of ‘climate change’ regulations etc- Gun laws which are UN mandate4d and enforced- doing an end run around congress, having the US tried for ‘waR crimes’ in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars’ etc-
The world would go absolutely nuts IF he gets such a position- The world absolutely loves him (not for any ligit reason, but simply because he is black, extremely liberal, loves socialism and loves islam and is fien with Islamic terrorism while at the same time vilifying the ‘extreme radical right’ (ie tea party, conservatives, etc- calling US extremists)

It’s simple, if you have the courage to believe it. Obama is on the other side. For Obama, America, Christianity, traditional values, Republicans, success are the enemy, which must be transformed.
Once you get this, Obama is very understandable and predictable.
Islam as you describe it appears very similar to today’s progressivism or liberalism. Ironic that Obama and the left fail to see that alignment.
As the Left is fond of saying, “don’t confuse them with facts”. I’d love to hear O’Reilly do a chronological piece on the “Crusades” and where the Christian campaigns fit against Islamic incursions. Ive long considered what we see today with the muslims as a result of the strength of oil money allowing them to push forward again. The muslims think in terms of centuries, whilst the West think in terms of who’s next on American Idol. This could be a fatal mistake for the West.

Islam is violent and repressive, and its sacred texts are the heart of darkness at the center of the Islamic State's inspiration and motivation, despite Barack Obama's assertions in September 10th's address to the nation that the Islamic State "is not Islamic" and that "no religion condones the killing of innocents." Violence is an integral part of Islamic doctrine, following the example set by its Prophet Mohammed, and in the name of Islam and Allah, Muslims have been murdering innocents, since 656 AD.
Six hundred years after Mohammed, one of Islam's most respected scholars, Ibn Khuldan wrote 'Muqaddimah' (Introduction to History), which explained: "In the Muslim community, the holy war is religious duty, because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and [the obligation to] convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or force."
Like most good Muslims, Khaldun's inspiration came from 'The Verse of the Sword', Sura 9:5, "revealed" towards the end of Mohammed's life, as well as similar themes previous to Sura 9:
Sura 9:5__ “...kill the Mushrikun (unbelievers) wherever you find them ... But if they repent and perform As-Salat/ Iqamat-as-Salat [the Islamic ritual prayers], then leave their way free..." Also Sura 9:33__ "It is He [Allah] Who has sent His Messenger [Mohammed] with guidance and the religion of truth [Islam], to make it superior over all religions..."

Around June 628, when Kinanah bin al-Rabi of the Jewish Bani al-Nadir tribe would not reveal where his conquered tribe’s treasures were hidden, Muhammad ordered one of his soldiers, “Torture him until you extract what he has,” so a fire was built on Kinanah’s chest until Kinanah nearly died.
In June 632, after Muhammad’s death, an attack on Ubna that he had earlier ordered took place. The leader of the Muslim force said,
… the Messenger of God commanded me and this was his last command to me: …to raid them, without inviting them [to Islam], and to destroy and burn.
