If this man is clamoring for Milt’s endorsement this early on, do you really think he’s the “new, young Reagan” that all his newly-minted, bandwagon-hopping supporters claim he is? What part of the base will vote for him in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina based on a Romney endorsement?
No, but maybe we don’t go for the torches and pitch forks quite yet? Like I said, we’ll end up tearing down all the potentially good candidates like we did during 2007 and 2011 and ending up with - yecch!
Walker is in the “Sweet Spot”. It is where you need to be to win elections. He can get the Tea Party, and is not someone who the establishment can back-stab without major repercussions.
If elections are won by money, Walker can't be too choosy.
Reagan went out of his way to get the endorsement of labor unions...something you would say disqualifies him.
This is the INSANITY of your argument!
Seeking a wide field of endorsements is wise in politics. It does not mean you compromise your principles....it means they accept yours.
But you and your fanatical anti-Walker friends find a story like this and can’t wait to try and smear Walker.
Romney was in single digits last time until fools, like you, destroyed every flawed alternative candidate.
Maybe he is trying to unite the party.
