In both elections of Obama, polling samples have determined that over 5 million evangelicals stayed home. I spoke with some of them each of those years while I was door-to-door canvassing, completely failing to change their determination.
“Conservatives” spending a boatload of time destroying the candidacy of the GOP candidates are responsible for Obama’s presidency.
Pray we don’t do that yet again over the next 21 months.
I certainly won't blame them in the case of Romney — politically speaking he was/is Obama's clone.
While I did hold my nose
and vote for McCain, it is to my eternal shame — and so I will not condemn them for not voting McCain. (In the intervening years I've become more aware of who McCain is and, to be honest, I would not vote for him then had I known what I do now.)

If you were trying to encourage them to vote GOP, I have no problem with their rejection of it — the Republican party needs its ass handed to them again and again and again until they realize that they actually have to do the things that they say they will. — but if you look at their actions and inactions, disregarding their rhetoric, it becomes clear that the Republican party is indistinguishable from the Democrat party.
