We can make more bombs.
I’m okay with that.
The only problem is we are not killing enough fast enough. Time to up the rules of engagement
This sounds like the usual Obama delay, delay and delay strategy, when he doesn’t want to accomplish something. Massive bombing should be happening everyday. Raqqa should have long sense been reduced to rubble, for instance.
Just kill ‘em faster....
We have a lot of bombs.
Gee whiz, this sounds like we’re at war, but we can’t be because our president got the Nobel peace prize.
And bring in the artillery for God’s sake!

The goal is not to eliminate the Daesh but to gain control of the border towns selected by the Kurds
Yes and no.
We may not be able to run as many sorties, but those sorties can be much more effective.
In Desert Storm we were running dumb bomb strikes with B-52s carrying up to 54 (500lbers) bombs each. A B-1B can carry up to 84 bombs (500lbers again) and since they’re JDAMS it can loiter for hours and take out specific targets in a onsie-twosie fashion.
These days massive sortie rates are only necessary when a broad and crippling attack against infrastructure (including dropping AD and CnC
systems) to achieve surprise and control of airspace is required. Once thats achieved the mode switches to one of constant overhead presence to pick off targets of opportunity. Which requires a significantly lower sortie rate.
The U.S.-led bombing campaign is doing little to stop foreign fighters joining the jihadist war in Iraq and Syria...Sounds perfect to me.
The "bottom line," said Rep. Adam Schiff of California, ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, is that foreign jihadists continue flowing into Iraq and Syria to join the fighting. "We have not been nearly successful enough in stemming that flow," the Democrat added.IOW, Adam Schiff is an idiot, or pro-jihadist, or both.
Goody goody goody. They’ll all go to Iraq and be killed, leaving the normal people outside of Iraq alone.
Even if they are being replaced,
they are still worth killing.
