“Dreamers” do have a path to citizenship now. It is called Honorable Military Service.
actually if they were born in the usa they can return after 18. Their offspring are citizens IF they were in the usa 10 years before the offspring were born.
There is also the 10 year rolling amnesty program that has existed for DECADES.
it only changed in 1996 to increase from six years to ten. (something ted kennedy hated)
