JACKSON, Miss. Former Republican two term state Sen. Tim Johnson announced his candidacy for lieutenant governor Wednesday at the State Capitol. He also officially switch over to the Democratic Party to run against incumbent Republican Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves.
Johnson says he has been contemplating the party switch for over a year now. He says the final straw for him was Republicans failing to expand Medicaid under the affordable care act.
Johnson is from Madison and has served as a Madison County Supervisor. In 2011 he ran for Central Public Service Commissioner, but lost the election to Dick Hall. - See more at: http://www.newsms.fm/former-state-sen-tim-johnson-expected-switch-parties-run-lt-governor/#sthash.m1Ohy9Po.dpuf

I understand it’s Republicans In Name Only but what does the “H” stand for???
Dumb move...
How many States are now controlled by REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS??
what ever...help him loose both GOV. attempt and then also State Senate seat...bye bye Johnson.
Rhino as in rhinoceros, Rino as in republican in name only.
We really need to find a Conservative to run against and beat reeves in the primary.
The Rhino is a noble beast. The RINO is pond scum.
“The Rhino is a noble beast. The RINO is pond scum.”
Excellent explanation. I will probably use that someday.
Thank you and please use it as you need to.
