I think that’s the idea.
Can’t have any free thinkers out there. Only fully vetted and indoctrinated site need apply. Users will have to have a government license to connect. Oh, and let’s not forget the new taxes.
It’s costing me $52 a month. I’m bracing myself for when I cancel it. That day is coming.
By the way, we’ve checked everywhere and the only cable available in my neighborhood is Comcast.
Let’s remember that the original idea and construction was by government (DARPA) to share government “information”.
What could go wrong?
It was supposed to save time in so many wonderful ways. But I would say that for every hour saved in creating productive things, 100 hours are now spent wasting time in idle entertainment.
The purpose of todays internet: to distract, dehumanize, and debauch.
