Hmm, I seem to have misplaced America. Anyone seen it?
Don’t pay. F em.
Every low life fag in the so called Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries should be tried and thrown in prison where they belong.
“Oregonians may not be denied service based on sexual orientation or gender identity. The law provides an exemption for religious organizations and schools,”
Private businesses owned by Christians should also be exempt.
The toilet has been flushed and America’s on it’s way down.
Meh, fold up the business, relocate out of Oregon, and tell them to get bent.
So, what do they do now? Appeal? Isn’t Oregon part of the Ninth Circus?
Don’t pay.
Time for people to step up. Don’t pay, don’t give service, hell, don’t even post the stupid calorie counts.
The founding fathers were rich guys and gave up everything. Its time we do.
I am.
Don’t pay it, declare the resulting fine to be political harassment and force them to arrest you and then declare yourselves “Political Prisoners”.
It’s time to fight back against the sort of social change by using the law as a Hammer.
“So, what do they do now? Appeal?”
Declare bankruptcy and let the state take what is left.
Go to the appeals court and pay their lawyers $250,000
They would not go to jail, but the state could siege asserts.
Hopefully, they sold off all real property and capital asserts, hid the cash vas declared bankruptcy.
totally agree
The first amendment freedom to peacefully assemble includes for the purpose of business and also includes the right to NOT assemble.
Any law which requires any US citizen to assemble for business against their will is a clear violation of the 1st amendment.
No, it's a violation of the 13th.
_ _ _ _ them.
trouble is that is what they like
This is beyond an assault on basic Constitutional values.
This is war.
And as with any good war, there should be casualties. People should be willing to fight to protect their basic and fundamental freedoms.
Or shut up and lose them.
Is the GoFundMe page up yet?
Curious about the possible involvement of the ACLJ and other such organizations. This would look like an eventual appellate loser for the state on a First Amendment basis, but having corporate involvement clouds things.
