I agree. But that's not going to stop the left, and once the 2A is gone from the BoR, the left will initiate a nonstop assault like we've never seen against gun owners. Don't think we'll fight back, either. We're a nation of pu$$ies at this point. If we can be counted on to fight back, we already would have done so. To fight back would require far too much sacrifice, and we are too busy trying to survive and pay our bills to make bigger sacrifices or to risk the ability to pay the mortgage, etc.
I'm not entirely against an Article V convention - there certainly is potential for improvement with one, however, I don't buy into it as the panacea that Levin and his supporters have been making it out to be. We have amendments on the books now that are being ignored. We have laws that are being ignored. Ultimately, I don't see where adding to those will make a whole lot of difference. We have term limits now! Vote the ba$tards out! It really is that simple. Enforce the laws we have, and do it strongly, then we can talk about additions and changes.
