A graphic design agency in Paris risks prosecution after allegedly posting a job advert online specifying that candidates should be not Jewish if possible.
The advert, which was removed after less than an hour, triggered a flood of complaints. The anti-racism organization SOS-Racisme said it had started legal proceedings.
Initially, the agency, NSL Studio, told a reporter from the news website, Les Inrocks, that it was seeking a non-Jew because of its long working hours.

Banned by France’s anti-racism laws.
It still takes the prize for sheer chutzpah.

It saved a lot of wasted time and excuses for both job seekers and the businesses doing the hiring.
They probably didn’t want another Charlie Hebdo on their hands. Five more years of this, ten at the most and Notre Dame will be a mosque.Quell dommage pour La France.
Never again is happening again.
Is it a private business?
I’d go a step further.... and maybe too far (maybe)
We should, technically, have the liberty to advertise a job and hire employees/provide services to whomever we want. Discriminate all the way! Just be prepared to pay a heavy price in the free market.
This is the whole basis of the absurdity of the cases against bakeries who won’t provide a service to homosexuals. Discriminate all you want... be prepared for the slap (like Chick-fil-A got “slapped”) or the roar of support (Like Chick-fil-A got.)
As a Jew, I’d take those odds... in America at least.
One of our favorite Pennsylvania guys is Haym Salomon, a Polish-born Jew who ranks right up with Ben Franklin and Robert Morris as larger than life men without whom the American Revolution wouldn't have been possible.
It is a damn shame that every school child in America doesn't know and honor his name just as much.
But they did include the phrase “...if possible” in their ad.
That should make it acceptable.
I am Charlie.
“Haym Salomon, a Polish-born Jew”
Never heard of him. I’ll look him up.
