Some of the writer(s) at Nat Rev care a great deal about the invasion - like Mark Krikorian - who is NOT an open borders type.

The writer for this piece is http://www.nationalreview.com/author/ryan-lovelace - who seems to care a lot about the invasion.

Re: “like Mark Krikorian - who is NOT an open borders type.”

I have been reading Krikorian’s work for at least 10 years.

In 2005-2006, during the Bush-McCain-GOP Amnesty betrayal, I corresponded with him several times.

He was brilliant, passionate, and tireless in those years.

Then, a few years ago, the Southern Poverty Law Center labeled CIS (Krikorian’s think tank) as “racist.”

Corporate funding for CIS dropped substantially, and Krikorian’s principles buckled.

CIS began to hire and showcase immigration “moderates” like David North.

CIS completely stepped back from its political activity and focused completely on research, 90% of which is trivial.

Around 2013, Krikorian himself wrote a post at NRO advocating Amnesty for several million (3 million maybe?) illegals.

I sympathize when a man's livelihood his threatened, but that was the final straw for me.
