Yemeni officials said that Shiite rebels have captured a key military base south of the capital, where U.S. advisers had previously trained counterterrorism forces.
They say that the Republican Guard camp captured on Thursday was used by American experts until 2012 to train local forces battling al Qaedas powerful Yemeni affiliate. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press.
The Shiite rebels, known as Houthis, have seized a number of key military facilities in recent days, including the headquarters of the paramilitary special forces. They took control of the capital in September.

Between 2/3 & 3/4 of the Muslims in Bahrain are Shiite and the monarch is Sunni.
Not sure how or why it become the USA’s responsibility to keep Shiites and Sunnies from killing each other.
There are many advantages for us in such a case.
Just keep them OUT of the USA. No travel, no immigration.

How is it that an army base that has tanks, armored vehicles, heavy machine guns, etc... can LOSE to a bunch of stick eating goat rapers with AKs? It happens all the time.
The only thing I can figure is that at some level they empathize with the sand apes attacking them.

Barrack Obama, Sr. was a devout Muslim from Kenya which has had a Muslim minority population for generations - predating the era of slave trading. My question is: which branch did they belong to, the Shiite or Sunni?
The answer to that question may answer some of the questions swirling around in my head.
