Does the fact that he did not cuff her give he the right to charge and try to stab him?

Of course not. His big time screw up is why he shot her to death. The officer allowed this to happen.

That is why they are supposed to be trained, for the safety of all.....And why the young lady is now dead.

In fact, he apparently already thought or knew she had a weapon...

How could an officer not cuff and search a suspect when he had every opportunity to do so??

??

Are we supposed to rely on mental cases and suspects to follow common sense procedures?

Of course not. His big time screw up Her charge with a deadly weapon is why he shot her to death.

The officer allowed this to happen ended her life threatening charge by shooting her.

I had to fix those.

In fact, he apparently already thought or knew she had a weapon...

Tell me, do you think that it is at all possible that he chose to wait for back up before attempting to cuff her, because he suspected that she had a weapon but was not able to find it?

Is it at all possible that he thought he might be safer waiting for assistance in executing a dangerous arrest?

Also, is there some problem in waiting for the investigation to complete in this matter?

If he cannot give some satisfactory explanation as to why he didn't secure her, I imagine he is going to be facing some problems, though murder or manslaughter isn't going to be one of them, because as you stated...of course not, his not cuffing her did not give her the right to try and kill him, nor did it mean that he forfeited his right to self defense.

Carefull now, dragnet - this is where chris starts putting words in your mouth, and looking to invent something, and claim that you said it.

MULTIPLE opportunities, AND he was lying on her back while she was pinned on her face. AND he outweighed her by a hundred pounds.

As you wrote earlier: Once a suspect is cuffed, the next basic procedure is to search the suspect. This is for the protection of the officer AND the suspect...Again, really basic stuff.

See? chris is working himself up to declare himself "victor".

Even though you're pounding him into the ropes with all those nattering facts, you're "losing".

It's not about an honest discussion of the facts or the case. It's 4chan Rules.
