Longview police have released a video of an officer-involved shooting in which a teenager was killed. Longview Police Department Chief Don Dingler addressed the incident during a conference Wednesday before the department aired the video.

I think the record speaks for itself. LOL! :)
That's where the 4chan stuff came from. Reflex posting.
chris - see you're a little bit "light" in the "supporting Free Republic" department.
"Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know."
Click on the Jim Thompson link above for a remedy. LOL! :)
You’re mad, but that’s okay, I understand that, I’d be mad if I were you too.
But I wouldn’t e-stalk you, because I’m not crazy, and I’d appreciate your giving me the same courtesy.
Don’t be a poor loser, it’s not becoming.
Have a nice life.
To quote George C. Scott from Patton:
"Nobody wants a picture of you, chris - you're mad-duh."
LOL! :)
There seems little doubt about that.
HOWEVER, what was the girl WAITING for ?
Why, if she was waiting to talk to a cop, did a guy with a WOOL CAP and OVERCOAT come out and 'corral' her ?
Sure, what MIGHT be on the soundtrack is the big guy saying "I need to search you", but then again, he did search her. Didn't find the knife though.
Then, he puts his arm around her shoulder (as if everything is OK) then slams her to the ground.
What prompted that ?
The 'guy' appears to be dressed to GO HOME. Why is he the one dealing with the woman instead of an ON DUTY POLICE OFFICER ?
Why do none of the ON DUTY COPS respond to the obvious scene of conflict, and the 'guy' pinning the girl on a bench and apparently knocking her unconscious twice ?
She was in a police station. Why didn't they just handcuff her as soon as the struggle started ? The 'GUY' (dressed as if he was going home) had her pinned down on a bench. She seemed unconscious at times.
Why did he let her up, put his arm around her shoulder, then slam her to the ground ?
Has anyone heard the audio portion of the recording yet ?
Don't get me wrong. I could just as easily explain all these seeming inconsistencies. The only reason I am being so skeptical is because of the lack of sound. Especially since what is on the audio would confirm the 'police' side of the story, and without it , things look 'funny'. That leaves the conclusion that the sound must have been incriminating.
I may be wrong, but I sure would like to know what was said, so I know whether I'm wrong or right. As I am sure you do as well.
Espcecially since she called them and told them she had a gun and was coming to the police station......
Granted.
HOWEVER.... why is the big guy who came out to 'confront' her dressed like he's headed home ? Why isn't he in any kind of uniform ?
Why didn't the cops come out while the physical fight went on ?
Yeah.... just like the video from COSTCO.
The audio has been purposely removed BY THE POLICE before releasing the recording to the public.
Since the audio would clearly resolve any 'questions' about the incident, one must wonder just WHY they chose to suppress it.
If 4chan shows back up on this thread, concede NOTHING.
All the police involved are criminals, on second view.
Conspiracy, murder, assault and sexual battery.
Maybe the police concocted the knife story to explain why his hands were down her pants.
Actually, she didn't call them and tell them that she had a gun.
Officer Number One, who beat her up and molested her, claims that she had 'I have a gun' written on her hand, and showed it to him when he slimed his way out to confront her.
That's his story - but we didn't check him for Sharpie residue...
Probably thought he was going to get him some, till someone told him the cameras were still on.
Yet ANOTHER reason to delete the audio...
That’s why this is being investigated by Texas Rangers. If there is any wrong doing, I’m certain that they will pursue it.
They have the audio. Whether it implicates or exonerates that officer remains to be seen.
However, it is quite clear that the shooting was justified.
I have already stated that I too question the officer’s behavior prior to that.
But whatever occurred in that video at no time gives her the right to charge him or anyone else with a large knife.
So just waiting for the results of the investigation now. No point in arguing about it.
No it wasn't. If the cop had followed standard basic procedure for his protection and the suspects, he would have never had to shoot the suspect, and in fact she would be alive today.
Yes, it was.
If she had never planned to and then enter a police station with a weapon and a scheme to confront police officers, NONE of this would have happened.
She started this chain of events, and no one else but her.
Now, if investigators see fit to charge him with failure to follow procedure, then that is a finding that they will have to choose to make if evidence supports that, but the FACT IS that she tried to kill him, thus she is dead, and justifiably so.
Whether or not he followed proper procedure or not, all she had to do was stand there and she would be alive today, period, end of story.
Audio "lost" in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
What she schemed to do is not the question. Sick and stupid people do things they should not do all the time. No?
The questions is, did the officer fail to secure the suspect when he repeatedly had the opportunity? No he did not.
Did the officer fail to follow basic standard procedure? Yes he did.
If the officer had followed basic common sense procedure he never would have needed to shoot her.
No?
