Two gay dads are shocked that a religious private school in Tennessee has refused to accept their children for enrollment.
Yahoo reports that Brian Copeland and Greg Bullard applied to the school after a friend said he believed the school would accept their family arrangement.
Copeland further explained the situation on his Facebook page.
“We chose this school because of its rigorous faith-based K-12 academics and extra curricular activities; and, a friend with a son there asked them if a family like ours would be allowed and was told yes. After a phone conversation, fully disclosing we are a two-dad family, an appointment was set for us. I received this letter canceling our appointment without even getting a chance.”

Yes. That's why you targeted the school. You hate the Christian faith, and you wanted to do damage to it. So, you found a faith-based school and tried to cause trouble.

Similar situation happened here in Wilmington NC last year (only with a lesbian couple).
I may get some negative opinions here, but I would allow their children to attend. They have got to know the traditional Christian beliefs of the schools when they apply, and sometimes God works in weird ways. It may be a Christian evangelism opportunity?!
As long as the School/Church doesn’t change it’s mind on homosexuality and start to call that ‘not a sin’, I wouldn’t have any problem allowing sinners (even those who are know by their outward sexual behavior) to attend.

why are they not more mad at their friends rather than the church? bad friend advice. not the church’s fault their friends are idiots.
Why not have every parent sign an agreement with the school stating that they understand their children will be taught according to traditional Biblical principles, and indicating that their children will be expected to behave in accordance with those principles to continue to attend.
Yes, let the kids attend. But when daddies have a problem, the school has it’s signed contract to show in court. After all, they are not “the state.”
That was the plan.
We turned down that road well past 50 years ago.
Have you noticed the tactics of the Sodomites always gravitates to entrapment and litigation of institutions with deep pockets. I guess they can’t or won’t work, so law suits are their means of living.
That is just moving the problem down the road.
The Catholic church tried that when they let in the homosexual priests.
The resulting lawsuits almost bankrupted the church.
