Chris Plante will join KCMO for the 9am-12pm slot, a timeslot he currently holds on 630/105.9 WMAL Washington. Plante spent 17 years at CNN, mostly serving as their Pentagon correspondent. The additions of Carson and Plante will enable Greg Knapp to move from mornings to afternoons from 4-7pm. Coming off the schedule is the syndicated Dennis Miller, while Dave Ramsey moves to 12-2pm followed by Michael Savage from 2-4pm. Mark Levin slides back to the 7-10pm timeslot with John Batchelor and Red Eye Radio rounding out the new KCMO lineup.

Does this mean that Chris is actually leaving WMAL or is he just being syndicated? The time slot is the same as his current one?
KCMO listeners will enjoy Chris. The time slot is the same, if you don’t take into account the different time zone. Maybe tape-delayed or extra hour for Chris.
Woo Hoo. Always enjoyed Chris when I was parked along I-95 or the Beltway late yet again for a meeting. It will be nice to hear him here in KC.
D-B,
It means that Chris Plante is being syndicated. There was talk of this on WMAL months and months ago.
G-F
I listen to him 9-11 CT on KFAY (Fayetteville AR) and WMAL, so he is already syndicated.
Thanks! Hope you are doing well!
