Hoooo boy. Billy Crystal has angered plenty with some poorly-worded statements he made about the portrayal of gay sex scenes on television. According to The Independent, during a panel on the Television Critics Association this weekend promoting his upcoming FX series The Comedians, Crystal said he can do without all the gratuitous P-in-the-B scenes that TV keeps shoving in his face:
Speaking during a panel interview in Pasadena, the actor said: Sometimes I think: Ah thats too much for me.
Sometimes, its just pushing it a little too far for my taste and Im not going to reveal to you which ones they are. I hope people dont abuse it and shove it in our face to the point where it feels like an every-day kind of thing, Crystal added.

I'm a recovered hippy ... I helped formalize the sexual and drug usage revolution among other things
And now a born again Christian,
God has been gracious to me for allowing me the sanity to not beat myself up, crawl into a bottle nor swallow a barrel .. it is what it is.
Gah! I was eating lunch...
That crap is on your TV!!!
(Jodie from the sitcom SOAP.)
Not mine-I’ve never seen that show-I prefer Deadliest Catch, Longmire, stuff on H2, etc, except for the aforementioned 2 novelas on Telemundo...
No kidding. You have to be a special kind of stupid to keep paying for it.
I haven’t had broadcast or cable in years and I don’t miss it one bit.
It’s the same level if idiocy that causes unique little snowflakes to puff out their chests screaming patriotic memes online, then going to a voting booth and voting for people proven to be diametrically opposed to everything they said.
In short, they, like liberals, say one thing and do another when the rubber hits the road. I guess TV is more important to them than their country and their kids, otherwise, why do they pay to destroy both?
Hey man, don’t post fudgepacker pics on FR.
Well, as I recall back in the late 60’s and seventies all the commercials and TV sit-coms began including what was then termed, the “token N*****” (there was always at least one), who’s character acted and spoke more “white” than most blacks do, and all the white folk in the little group looked as though they didn’t even notice he was there. Then after a few years all the other races and ethnic groups jumped on board. Now the LGBTs get plopped in the middle of commercials, etc. Some might say its “art imitating life” - but it’s not. It’s part of the insidious liberal agenda machine (mass media) bulldozing its way into your private life and programming you to believe that what you’re watching is “reality”. It’s been going on for years. Pick up a woman’s magazine sometime - find one with an article (usually the cover story), like redecorating a craftsman bungalow. Turn to that page - and wa-la! in living color, you’ll get to see how two gay “partners” turned their fixer-upper into home sweet home. I got sick and tired of this crap being shoved into my face years ago, so I quit buying magazines.
Too late Billy, and it’s your fault!
See, now I’d tune in for the Academy Awards — which he’ll never host again, but if he did...
do you and your family a favor ... cut the cable
you’ll be surprised how the drama in your lives decreases
The following program is rated H for Homo
definitely needed. for all media
Really!!! It’s coming back on BRILLIANT
Considering his big start was playing an early homosexual role in “Soap” this is some quote!
Actually I wonder why we allow any sex scenes on TV. It is not necessary in any way shape or form.
I am appalled this rump ranger kissing is on network TV!!!!!
I’m delighted, too-it is the series that gets the most viewers for A&E-the books it is based on are entertaining mystery stories, too.
Come on...Uncle Arthur was as queer as they get. And funny as hell.
