Hoooo boy. Billy Crystal has angered plenty with some poorly-worded statements he made about the portrayal of gay sex scenes on television. According to The Independent, during a panel on the Television Critics Association this weekend promoting his upcoming FX series The Comedians, Crystal said he can do without all the gratuitous P-in-the-B scenes that TV keeps shoving in his face:
Speaking during a panel interview in Pasadena, the actor said: Sometimes I think: Ah thats too much for me.
Sometimes, its just pushing it a little too far for my taste and Im not going to reveal to you which ones they are. I hope people dont abuse it and shove it in our face to the point where it feels like an every-day kind of thing, Crystal added.

Susan Harris wrote the famous Maude ‘Abortion episode’. She also created Soap and The Golden Girls.
Exactly.
The amount of times we have put on a show for the family and a man has kissed another man out of the blue.
If they have warnings for language, violence and sex then why not for homosexuality which most of the country opposes anyway.
The liberal agenda:
Joe Biden, “ When things really begin to change, is when the social culture changes. I think Will & Grace probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody’s ever done so far. And I think- people fear that which is different. Now they’re beginning to understand.”
They want us to all believe homosexuals are all like the lovable characters on Will & Grace. They don’t talk much about the downside.
IT goes to show how the loud mouth activists so dominate the scene.
The proportion of the population that is actually engaged in this kind of activity is pretty small. Even the infamous Masters & Johnson puts it at a mere 10%, and less tendentious polls put it in the low single digits.
But actually call them drama queens crying out for far more attention than they deserve even on a secular view, and you will get virtually drawn and quartered for it.

Billy ...you were the first prime time main TV gay character on “Soap”
It’s more than kissing
I was flipping through my local channels after the football game last night and left it on some political drama (Scandal? I think.) I was actually ironing and not really paying attention to the show when suddenly I hear these two guys arguing over how some guy pimped out his “husband” to have sex with another man and it went on and on into detail before I could get to the remote and just turn it OFF. I am so sick of this crap. There’s so much of it on television now you would think they make up 80% of the damn population. And this was NOT cable.
SOAP!!
It happens when you grow up
Perhaps you guys should
One of the great things about Breaking Bad was it showed no fudge packing at all. Which makes me wonder if that wasn’t the real reason it was cancelled.
Hollywood is trying to make it seem like these public displays of homosexual affection is perfectly normal when it's not.
Fact is, most homosexuals are discreet about how they behave in public. What they do in their own homes or in their private clubs is their own business and the rest of us need not concern ourselves with it.
Murphy should be ashamed of where his career is now not how great he was in the 1980s.
I have gotten the unwelcome homosurpise on netflix a few times now. It just kinda sneaks up on you.
It really seems like they are trying to shoe horn that crap in where ever they can even though it does not really fit in. No pun intended. I think.
It’s like there is this little fairy adviser on set just floating around in little glittery slippers with fairy wings on them with a little fairy wand going okaaaayyyy make this gay and this gay and oh there’s got to be more gay here and more gay there....
LOL. As some people pointed out, Crystal portrayed one of the first openly gay characters on Soap. I remember how many people “Soap” upset when it was on TV - it was crude, it was sexually lurid, it undermined marriage, it had gays on it, etc. Now if you look back at “Soap,” its so quaint and tame by comparison. And the guy who was shoving homosexuality in everyone’s face in 1977 is now the old man who blushes when he sees it on TV now.
I quit watching TV...this is just one of the reasons.
If someone can explain to me why people are complaining while they send $100 a month to have this stuff created and shoved in their face, I’d be real interested to hear it.
Because without your cash folks, none of this would be happening. And yes, your cash funds it. When you send in that cable/dish tithe, it does not go for patriotic programming only. It funds the homo/liberal agenda, buys them nice things and helps them propagandize your country.
‘Three’s Company’ was rejected by one or more of the networks in the mid 70s because they thought the public wouldn’t stand for a show about an unmarried man living with unmarried women.
The irony is that Billy played one of the first gay TV characters in “Soap.”
