President Obama — who famously promised when he took office in 2009 to bring about an “unprecedented level of openness in government” — has headed off to Baltimore for a retreat with Democrats with one special caveat: No press allowed.
Newsmax reported that in previous years, the Democrats have let in some members of the media. But this year, none are allowed — though some topics of discussion have sneaked into the public arena. The Hill reported that the politicos will be discussing Mr. Obama’s latest proposal — to use tax dollars to pay for community college — as well as the housing market, corporate tax reform and infrastructure spending.

NOBODY is saying yet, what we need to do, is to bring back US jobs.

I suspect that the Democrats know that the OBAMACARE subsidies (for most states) are about to be killed by the Supreme Court, so they’re getting a message ready. They don’t want any reporting on it because that would sound like they’re giving up on the Court...which might sway the Court against them, ending any hope they may have had for victory.
The Republicans, on the other hand, are TOO STUPID to realize that they too need to be ready for that day. The Dems, MARK MY WORDS, will come out BLASTING when the court throws out the subsidies. The Republicans, on their heels, will be VERY TEMPTED to run through a “clean bill” to change the language of the law and keep the subsidies flowing, accepting the Democrat promise to “address needed changes in the future”.
I will be VERY SURPRISED if anything better happens...and it’s sad, because the Republicans could, instead, be ready with a SET OF CONDITIONS for restoring the subsidies (i.e., conditions with teeth in them), or simply let Obamacare collapse as a coordinated policy. Instead they’ll be FLAILING all over the place trying to figure out what to do.
The one other possibility is that the Democrats will look at their polling among white voters, particularly in the South.
In Texas the Democrats did their best with non-Hispanic whites - they got a WHOLE 25% of their votes in 2014. Other states were as bad or worse, with Mississippi being the worst for them, where they got a WHOLE 11% of the white vote. On top of that, at least in Texas and Georgia, HISPANICS only voted 50-55% Democrat (i.e., 45%+ Republican)...nearly splitting their vote right down the middle. Hence the 20 point victories for all statewide Republicans in Texas and the clean sweep of the South for Republicans.
Having said that, unfortunately Republicans are TOO STUPID to do the math and realize that they would win EVERY STATE if they got 75% of the white vote (with the possible exception of California), since whites are still the vast majority of voters - and a good number of Hispanics tend to tag-along with the whites, if they run conservative candidates (i.e., gay marriage and gun-grabbing don’t play well with them either). Instead the Republicans will likely keep PANDERING for the minorities, and demoralizing the people they REALLY NEED to win, which are the conservatives.

And the GOP is getting ready to run a loser again or a new loser who is a rat in conservative clothing, they’re not interested in what the rats are doing they’re setting the stage for them to win another presidential election come 2016

We’ll see - there are still PRIMARIES. But yes, Rove and his bunch DEFINITELY want us to lose, yet again.
What's the big deal? The MSM and the American public don't know one-tenth of the crap that goes on in Washington. Nothing new.
